

In partnership with the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs’ Create Denver initiative and the Office of Economic Development, Micro Business Development offers business development tools to increase income and build assets for artists and creative business owners!
Offerings include:
- Creative Business Assessments conducted by the MBA Consultant Team.
- Workshops that focus on the special needs of creative businesses.
- One-on-one assistance designed specifically for artists and creative businesses.
- A tailored loan program for creative entrepreneurs. Loans of up to $40,000 are available for entrepreneurs to improve income generating opportunities, acquire supplies and equipment, and make changes to working spaces, among other uses. This alternative to high-interest credit cards provides loans at an interest rate between 6% - 12%, as well as support in helping the business become sustainable. Art @ Kalamath: Part of MBD?s artist initiative includes a collaborative gallery called Art @ Kalamath, combining art and entrepreneurship. Art @ Kalamath hosts five local galleries and curators who are coming together to promote Denver’s creative entrepreneurs.
